How every SodaBurn lot is tested

Each SodaBurn production run is screened on four panels before release: identity and potency of the actives, heavy metals, microbiology, and residual solvents on the botanical extracts. The current run cleared all four and is recorded under certificate AAP/26/0417.

Where the verification page gives you the result for the bottle in your hand, this page describes the process behind it.

The facility

SodaBurn is blended and bottled in a facility registered with the FDA and operating to current Good Manufacturing Practice. In practical terms that means written procedures for every step, a documented cleaning regime between runs, sampling at defined points, and records that can be reconstructed years later. Registration is not approval, and it is worth being precise about the difference: the FDA does not approve dietary supplements or their labels.

The four panels

PanelMethodWhat it answersThis lot
Identity and potencyHPLC-UVAre the named botanicals the ones in the bottle, at a consistent concentration99.2%
Heavy metalsICP-MSLead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury below limit< 0.5 ppm

Residual solventsHeadspace GCExtraction solvents cleared from the finished extractsPass

Testing is carried out by Alderbrook Assay Partners, an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory independent of the manufacturer. Independent means the laboratory has no commercial interest in the result of the SodaBurn assay it runs.

What testing can and cannot tell you

A clean panel tells you the liquid is what the carton says it is, that it is not contaminated, and that one bottle resembles the next. That is genuinely useful and most of the supplement market does not publish it.

What testing cannot tell you is whether SodaBurn works for you, and it cannot fill the gap left by the missing milligram amounts. Potency testing confirms consistency between batches; it does not turn an unpublished dose into a published one. Anyone who tells you a certificate of analysis proves a supplement is effective is stretching the document past what it says.

Sourcing the six actives

The botanicals in SodaBurn are bought as standardised extracts from suppliers who provide their own certificates on arrival, and those documents are checked against the incoming material rather than filed unread. Chromium is sourced as a food-grade mineral ingredient. Material that fails incoming inspection is rejected at the dock, which is the least dramatic and most important quality control step in the whole process.

Nothing in the bottle is animal derived. The formula contains no dairy, no gluten ingredient and no added sugar.

Allergens and cross-contact

SodaBurn is produced in a facility that also handles other botanical products. Anyone with a severe allergy should read the current carton before the first dose and write to the desk with a specific question rather than relying on a general statement on a web page.
